Grey's Adventures

Grey's Adventures is the portfolio and online playground of Shaun "Grey" Hargreaves, a web design student at the University of the West of England, Bristol.

I'm currently looking for a work placement, so if you run a design-related agency and want to give me a job for a year then get in touch, that'd be awesome.

(This site is very much a placeholder for a much better one that will be online... eventually. Sorry if it looks a bit rubbish.)

Collateral Damage Man

Tim Timmerson by day, Collateral Damage Man also by day. A random venture into rapid, corny video editing with Kieran Hargreaves and Chris Spence. Made (almost) entirely on iPad.

Darn Blimps

My weirdly-named Minecraft server needed a website, so I made one.

Book Trek

A bespoke e-commerce solution (online book store) built with PHP and MySQL, incorporating existing frameworks and APIs (but alas, no actual design); part of a university project.

Greypixels 2

I wanted to see if I could make a pixel font even smaller than the original Greypixels. At just four pixels x-height, I did.

Generic David Bowie Lyrics Website

Creating a simple website showcasing David Bowie's discography and lyrics for some of his tunes; part of a university project.

Twimage.php

I wanted to display my tweets in forum signatures, meaning they had to be turned into images. Problem solved.

Audiobase

Upload music, listen to it anywhere. (Account controls are disabled for the purposes of this demo. WebKit only — sorry.)

Aquarius Online

A proof of concept hybrid social network/course management system for a fictional college.

Death Wore Endless Feathers

I created the logo and some background art for Scavenger's cyberpunk, noir-styled point-and-click adventure.

Greypixels

A simple monospace pixel font, intended for limited use at very small sizes.

Illogiblog

Logo for the Illogiblog, the blog-based spin off of Illogicopedia.

St James' Keychain

Commemorative keychain given to everyone graduating from St James' Catholic High School in 2008, based on the theme of "Shine". The school's logo appears on the reverse.

MyFursona

Head of design at MyFursona, the first dedicated social network for the furry fandom. Spearheading the MyFursona Eden project.

FurteanTimes.com

A crowd-sourced news website for the furry fandom that I designed, programmed and edited. As seen on BBC News.
